

Group and Community Work


Community work concentrates on providing mental health knowledge and being a tangible resource in a variety of environments. The information shared is adaptable to the audience and focuses on meeting the current need.
Group work entails two areas. The first area is psychoeducation which focuses on knowledge and information to increase awareness. The second area is a process group which helps individuals both understand and work through their emotions about a particular event.

FAMILIES
Provide education about highlighted concerns and help connect them to a mental health professional in their community.
School setting
Provide education to staff about components of mental health, offer de-escalation tactics for mental health crisis as well as tips in avoiding burnout and compassion fatigue.
faith based
The goal is to help bring faith together with mental health education to address mental health needs. We provide clarity on mental health concerns foucsing through the lens and guidance of faith.
GROUP
Psychoeducation group providing knowledge about different topics that are impacting them, their family or community. This can include but is not limited to grief/loss, self-esteem, dealing with life transitions, aging, anger, etc.
